Race Details
- Start, finish and post race festivities take place at the Lodge at Rock Hill - 283 Rock Hill.Drive, Rock Hill, NY. Google Map
- Registration opens at 8am. Official start is 10 am.
- Early runner start is 9:30 am (finishing in 2 hours 30 minutes and slower). Subject to Race Directors discretion. "The spirit of the early start (walkers & runners) is so walkers and slower runners (runing in 2 hrs. 30 minutes or slower) may finish with the pack and be able to join in with the post race festivities, food & awards ceremony. We ask that you understand and respect this spirit! Thank you for your consideration. " Earlier starters who finish faster than 2:30 hours will not be eligible for awards. Early runners must have their bibs marked at the start line prior to the 9:30 start.
- Walker Start is 8:30 a.m.. Walkers will wear different color bib, and must walk the entire course. Course officials will be spot checking. Walkers who are seen running will be scored as runners.
- Professionally electronically timed.

- Water and Gatorade will be placed on the course approximately every 1.5 to 2 miles and at the finish line.
- Gels will be handed out at approximately mile 6.5
- The course is open to traffic and all turns will be manned by at least one course marshall controlling traffic and directing runners. All turns will also be marked with a yellow arrow on the ground. The police and ambulance will be on hand for your safety.

- Mile timers will be providing times at each mile (1 thru 12). Miles will be marked on the road in yellow paint as well as with a stand-up mile marker.
- Premium windbreaker to the first 600 registered runners.
- Goodie Bags to the first 500 runners.
- A door prize drawing will be held for pre-registered runners only (deadline for these door prizes is Thursday evening before race day at 6pm). The winners will be drawn from a pool randomly and assigned a door prize. Signs are made and displayed at each mile on the course so be sure to look for your name if you are pre-registered by this deadline! These prizes may be picked up from the race director at completion of the race. Runners do not need to be present at the race or awards ceremony to claim these prizes.
- Awards will be presented to top 3 overall male and female, top 3 overall cancer survivors male and female, top 3 walkers overall, and top 3 male and female in the following age groups: 16 and under, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. The only duplicate awards are cancer survivors.
- Bananas and coffee will be provided at the start of the race. At the finish, a meal will be served at The Lodge at Rock Hill. Food is provided by volunteers and/or sponsors.
- Porta potty is available at miles 3 and 10 (approximate) – this is the same location, you pass it twice.
- Carpooling is advisable. Please do not park on the road near the start/finish area. You may park at Bernie’s Restaurant (next to the Lodge). Please refrain from parking in the church parking lot.
