ml:  congratulations.  saw the results and 200 finishers on coolrunning.com.  noted your daughter finishing 2nd in AG.  you should be pleased with the turnout and very proud of yourself for helping to orchestrate a great event that raises funds for a worthy cause.

Myriam,

Thank you (for the second year) for organizing and executing a wonderful race, and by the healthy numbers of entrants, I hope it will become part of the running scene in the area.  Speaking of number, I hope the race raised a significant amount of money for CROC.

Every time I run in Sullivan, I experience the warmth and genuine caring of the volunteers.  All of you go out of your way to make it a great day for the runners. Thank you again.

Hello Myriam,

I would like to congratulate you on the amazing job you guys do to put this race together, I was honestly impressed how well organized was.

the little speech you gave about surviving cancer and how scare survivors get in every check up made me chocked, cause it's absolutely true how i feel.

thank you so much,

Lilian Kroner:

Myriam: Nice article.  Nice picture on the link below which I couldn't paste into the article.  Sounds like you did a great job and were very successful with fundraising.

Myriam and Kathleen,
I would like to thank you both for all you do for others. You are beautiful women. You have and continue to touch cancer survivors and their families in so many ways. As a cancer survivor I know first hand how difficult it is to take that first step to find the strength to carry on.All is possible through the love, support and example you set. I am so very grateful to you both. God Bless You.

Hi Myriam and Kathy,

I think the two of you and everyone that was involved with the Celebrate Life ½ did a wonderful job. I didn’t do particularly well myself, but I think I’ll just have to do more long runs before I try something like that  again. I haven’t planned a ½ marathon in quite a few years (I planned 2 back in the late 1970’s), but I know how much work they entail. So, BRAVO and I am interested in how much you were able to make to help CROC.

Myriam.

Thanks for the pictures from the finish line!  They were great and speaking of great...your race was great!  Both you and Kathleen did a terrific job for the runners, the communities and clubs.  From the training runs to the on course support and mile timers and to the post race festivities, it was a top notch event.  You guys should feel very proud!

Hi, Kathy,

I just wanted to tell you how well I thought your race went. Everything was great - the t-shirts are really nice (no sponsors on shirt give it such a nicer look - the bags with the sponsors was a great idea), there was plenty of food and you certainly provided a lot of nice door prizes (of which I was fortunate enough to receive one!), the on-course water stops were plentiful and located at perfect distances, and I love the early start for us slow pokes!   Are you selling the caps or were they special orders?

Dear Myriam and Kathleen,

Thank you for all of the work that you did to put together the Celebrate Life Half Marathon.  It was a great event and I feel honored to be able to compete in it.  You and all the volunteers did a tremendous job and I hope that you have continued success in the future.

Also, I have a question for you.  I was the one who collected donations (in memory of my mom who passed away from ovarian cancer in October 2004) for CROC and gave you some checks at registration time.  Well, when I got home I received a few more checks in the mail.  Where would you like me to send them?  Is it okay if they are made payable to either Celebrate Life Half Marathon or Citizens Reunited to Overcome Cancer?   I hope that it helps.

Have a great day.
