Celebrate Life Half Marathon
Training Runs - 2009

Training Run dates will be Saturdays - January 3rd, 17th & 31st and February 14th, 2009 at 9:00am.  Meet at Lakeside Pizzeria & Restaurant (formerly The Dodge Inn).  The course will be marked with yellow arrows at turns only. Water and Gatorade will be placed in bright bags (approximate locations are 1.5 miles, 3 miles, 7 miles (7 is the same location as 3 miles), 8 miles and 11.5 miles (8 and 11.5 is the same location as mile 1.5).  The course can be shortened easily to 10 miles for those just starting out and not wanting to do the full distance.  Written directions and maps will also be provided.  Water and Gatorade for all training runs are provided by Race Directors, Myriam Loor 845-866-1345 and Kathleen Rifkin 845-527-3825.

For anyone not able to make training runs on Saturdays and interested in trying it out on a Sunday, the course will be marked from the day before and the Race Directors can e-mail written directions to anyone interested.  Water and Gatorade will not be placed on Sundays.

E-mails will go out prior to each training run. 
All training runs are weather permitting.
